Makeup Doll

Abigail was my makeup doll for this little experiment tonight. I’ve had the idea to turn someone into a doll for a while. Hopefully, this will lead to a bigger project soon.
Halloween at Work
Posted by MrWerewolf in Body Paint on October 31, 2009
Took the paints into work on the day before Halloween. I painted my friend and coworker, Rachel, during my lunch break as a pink and purple cat to match her outfit. I also gave Rebecca a simple pi tattoo for her math ninja costume.
Black Cat

I had a lot of fun painting Kate. I wanted to do a very stylized black cat with just ordinary paint brushes.

MomoCon and Furry Weekend Atlanta
Posted by MrWerewolf in Body Paint on March 27, 2009
Both MomoCon and Furry Weekend Atlanta were a blast. I had a lot of fun and I am grateful to be invited to do the body painting panels for both conventions.
Before MomoCon I painted Andre as Piccolo from the Japanese animation series DragonBall Z. You can see photos of it on his deviantART page here.
The panel at MomoCon was fun. The audience was nice and engaging and very eager to be painted. What really made me happy about it was to see someone come up who was interested in actually try some airbrushing. So he came up and we drew a volunteer from the crowd and let him paint the volunteer while I stepped him through. He did an excellent job for his first time. I sincerly hope he decides to get his own equipment and pursue it further.
At Furry Weekend Atlanta I painted Jessica as a dog Friday night and I painted her as a tiger Saturday. I also painted Melissa as a blue and purple dragon. Best dragon I’ve painted yet, though I don’t have photos yet. They both appeared at the panel which I felt help add to it. It helps to have a live model appear all painted up to show off the art.
Again, I painted someone from the audience and explained the steps that I took. I was very surprised that someone I painted at the first Furry Weekend Atlanta I attended appeared very eager to learn how to paint. I let him try the equipment and stepped him through painting someone. I gave him some practice doing lines and spots on my arms first this time though. He did really well for his first time too and I spoke with him for a bit after the panel about how he can start painting on his own. I was very pleased.
Unfortunately I don’t have photos of my own from these events. I didn’t have a working camera.

Anna has always admired body painting but never had the pleasure of experiencing it herself. Until quite recently of course.
Kate’s Asian Inspired Costume
Posted by MrWerewolf in Body Paint on September 14, 2008
Kate makes wonderful costumes. She made this outfit to wear at
DragonCon ‘08 and wanted me to do some makeup for her to complete the
outfit. Unfortunately I didn’t have time during DragonCon so we met to
do a photo shoot together.

I had a lot of fun this year. I was so busy painting that I didn’t have a lot of time to take pictures. However, here’s what I was able to capture.
Carley as Sinful Suzi.
